In the summer of 2015 and 2016 Casper spend his time building a field hut. The mission was to create a space for the barley to dry after harvesting and a shelter for the animal in the winter.

Lots of people participate beside the family who did a great job. We had the pleasure of working with Aldo Jorge Ramirez Carrasco and Sienna Trapp-Bowie from Fortuna Chocolate Colorado, Joshua Evans from Canada former working at Nordic Foodlab now Phd on Cambridge and photographer and Viking Troels Rosenkrantz.

Troels also made this little video documenting the process.

Bøgedal is Scandinavia’s only all-gravity brewery and is boiled over an open fire using local wood as fuel. Bøgedal’s brewing method is an attraction in itself, since the brew flows freely (all gravity), from vat to vessel, without pumping, creating different levels by use of hand-powered hoists and pulleys
